Painter/ Modular Home Finisher Job description

Main duties on a day to day basis

• Communicating with office and Design team to determine the painting requirements for projects
• Covering trim, floors, furniture and other surfaces with masking tape, drop cloths and other protective coverings to keep them free of paint
• Preparing surfaces to be painted by washing them, filling holes and cracks with putty and sanding them until they’re smooth
• Applying primer and other sealers to paint surfaces to ensure that paint sticks to them
• Applying paint, stain and other finishes to paint surfaces using paintbrushes, rollers or sprayers
• Maintaining an inventory of supplies like paint brushes, rollers and tarps
• Estimating time and material costs on painting projects
• Cleaning machines, equipment and work areas using water, solvents and other cleaning aids
• Removing and reinstalling fixtures (e.g, doorknobs, electric switch covers) as necessary
• Following safeguards, rules and regulations
• Snagging
• Sealing and Caulking
• General Handyman Duties
• Customer Care Works

This is a mobile position working across multiple sites in Ireland

Requirements and skills

• Proven experience as a painter
• Excellent knowledge of painting material and how to select, mix and apply them
• Solid knowledge of commercial and/or construction painting techniques
• Aptitude in using appropriate tools (brushes, caulking guns etc.)
• Conscientious with great attention to detail (Critical)
• Work well as part of a team and use own initiative
• Full driving licence, B category.
• Safe pass
• Manual Handling Training
• Be comfortable working in a factory setting as well as on site

Job Type: Full-time

Minimum 5 years experience.

Carpenter Job description

Main duties on a day to day basis

• Working as part of a team to construct some of the highest quality modular buildings on the market.
• Carrying out other construction tasks not related to carpentry
• Working with subcontractors in factory and on site
• Keeping work areas tidy
• Working knowledge of relevant tools & equipment (supplied)

Requirements and skills

· Flexible in job duties

· Able to work on own initiative

· Can read and understand fabrication drawings and plans

· Can take direction as well as work as part of a team

· Experience of the construction industry

· Good communication and English is essential.

· Have an eye for attention to detail and finish

· Full driving licence, B category.

· Safe pass

· Manual Handling Training

· Be comfortable working in a factory setting as well as on site
